Tea seed oil

Organic tea seed oil is extracted from the seeds of the tea plant, Camellia Oleifera, belonging to the same genus of the trees used to produce green tea, Camellia Sinensis. Tea seed oil has been used for centuries in Asia for its regenerative, rejuvenating and revitalizing properties. Also known as camellia oil, tea seed oil is very rich in Oleic acid and, as green tea, it is a superb antioxidant. It is in fact considered to have the highest antioxidant contents of all vegetable oils. With anti-inflammatory and anti-fungal properties, it spreads easily on skin and is an excellent moisturiser, suitable for dry, ageing, sun damaged and sensitive skins. Organic tea seed oil is gentle enough to be used in baby products and eye area skincare products. Organic tea seed oil is also very beneficial in hair conditioners and scalp treatments.
